Welcome back Ubisoft Games – Ubisoft is returning to Steam!
This company, which has many video games such as Assassin’s Creed game series, Far Cry game series and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six developed under the umbrella of Ubisoft Games, decided to return to steam again.
This comeback, which will start with the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla video game on December 6, 2022, will please many players using Steam.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was previously available on the Epic Games Store, and finally, Ubisoft decided to change its policies and return to Steam.

The first games that are expected to return as a start are as follows:
- Anno 1800
- Roller Champions
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Why is Ubisoft returning?
So what was the reason for Ubisoft, which removed its games from Steam in 2019, to return after 3 years?
The failure to reach the expected sales amount in Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store, falling behind other companies with which it competes or the decrease in popularity may have pushed Ubisoft to take this decision.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey players will be able to access these games on Steam from December.
Ubisoft games to be added to Steam are expected to be compatible with the next generation game console, Steam Deck. Steam Deck access is also expected for Ubisoft’s games to be released.
On behalf of the Assassin’s Creed community, who awaits December for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC, we are happy with this comeback and excited for the DLC.
We hope all Ubisoft made video games will return to Steam.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Last Chapter
The release date of this DLC, where Eivor’s story will end, was specified on December 6th.
This patch will bring a few new features to the character and some new rewards to unlock. And the game’s Seasonal Festivals are said to end with this DLC.
New content is not expected until Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the new Assassin’s Creed game that will come after this DLC.
There is not much information yet about the new game, which is expected to be released on Playstation 5 and Playstation 4. It is also a matter of curiosity whether the game will come to Steam rather than PS4 and PS5.
With an unofficial information, it is spoken in the player communities that a new game will be added to the Assassin’s Creed Series, with the name Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, after the Mirage game.
